F1 in Schools

Introduction

This course is designed for those of you competing in the F1® in Schools STEM Challenge! You will take part in a multi-disciplinary challenge, in which you will work as teams using CAD/CAM software to collaborate, design, analyse, manufacture, test, and then race miniature compressed air powered cars made from the F1® in Schools model block. In this course, you will be given an overview of the forces acting on the Rear Wing, Aerofoils and other important design considerations. You will then learn how to design a Rear Wing which is compliant with both the Entry and Development Classes. You can iterate on these designs for your own car.
