F1 in Schools

Introduction

This course is designed for those of you competing in the F1® in Schools STEM Challenge! You will take part in a multi-disciplinary challenge, in which you will work as teams using CAD/CAM software to collaborate, design, analyse, manufacture, test, and then race miniature compressed air powered cars made from the F1® in Schools model block. In this course, you will build the Official F1® Model Block and the “No-Go-Zone”. It’s really useful to know how this is built from the ground up, it will make it easier for you to make your own designs on top as you’re familiar with both the design and the software. Once you’re comfortable with this, you can use future courses to help you hone your designs.
